1. Who We Are

Lions Head provides a financial intelligence service for small business owners, accessible via WhatsApp and the web.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only data you provide:

  • Bank statements — PDF files you upload (FNB, Standard Bank)
  • Transactions — Parsed debit/credit records from those statements
  • Email address — Used to identify your account
  • Chat messages — Questions and responses exchanged with the assistant
  • Budget and debt records — Data you enter manually

We do not collect identity documents, passwords, or payment card information.

3. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to provide the service: parsing transactions, answering financial queries, tracking budgets and debt plans, and delivering responses. We do not use your data for advertising or profiling.

4. Third-Party Services

5. Data Security

  • All data transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
  • Your data is isolated per account — no other user can access it
  • Database access is restricted to the Lions Head application only

6. Your Rights (POPIA)

Under the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA), you have the right to:

  • Access — Request a copy of your personal information
  • Correction — Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion — Request erasure of your data (processed within 7 business days)
  • Export — Download your transaction data as CSV from the dashboard
  • Objection — Object to processing of your personal information
